Latest update: 7th April 2024. . .

Our tame electricians, and we have a few, have finally fixed not only the AC electrical power latching onto the aircraft problem, but also, we now have the fuel gauging working on both Port and Starboard wing tanks with no "hunting" of the gauges.

The aircraft latching to AC power was caused by a faulty under voltage relay circuit thingy (non-sparky typing), XR725 happily relinquished her serviceable part to fix this.

The Fuel Gauging issue was found to be a faulty wing tank bridging amplifier in the Port wing. 725 also helped here and we are pleased to report that as the images show, we now have fuel gauging!

Congratulations to; Phil Wallis (AALO), & Simon Johnson (AALO), John Watson, John Illingworth, Pete Marsden and Dave Smith.

Chris, Josh & Jess carried out the overdue starter Failsafe checks on both No.1 and No.2 ECU's as well as the No.1 ECU Igniter checks, all proving serviceable too!

Pete reconnected the No.2 Hydraulic pressure switch plug after a small repair to the connector that has been outstanding for a long time.

Barf, Verm, and Graham progressed the T-bar to the point that maybe in May it will serve its first cuppa...?

Jess reinstated the PRC sealant below the Refuel Panel, on the cable ducting.

Steve, Graham, and Jess continued the upper wing paint preparation for the upcoming painting days we have planned. Picasso has confirmed the Starboard wing is now ready for primer.

More sandbags were filled to secure the Port side of the shelter in yet more efforts to hold the persistent strong winds found up on the hill! Jon Spent yet more time on his knees trying to perfect a secure way to tie down the front doors!

Fuel transfer checks from Starboard to Port was carried out successfully with 500lbs of fuel added.

In all a really positive day with many items either cleared or progressed allowing the team to move onwards with her rejuvenation.
